One of the largest paper mill in India was planning of importing wood chips to Marmagao Port Trust, Goa. Wood chips is usually shipped through dedicated wood chip carriers having specialized internal conveyor system for discharge at the port. Clients’ prime focus was to efficiently discharge the cargo using shore conveyors.
Reliserve Corp. assessed the logistical and equipment requirement to handle such a cargo and provided a complete turnkey solution consisting of high-speed mobile shore conveyor system, stockpiling plan and an effective cargo management solution at the port and factory floor.

Reliserve Corp. has designed and operates shore based conveyor system for wood chips discharge at Berth XI, Marmagao Port Trust, Goa which is capable of discharging wood chips at over 10,000 MT per weather working day, comparable to any dedicated wood chip port in the world. Reliserve Corp. also undertakes stockpiling, loading at port, transportation and mechanical unloading at factory. Over 1,000,000 MT of cargo has been handled through this system.
